SparkDate: Court is in Session
November 10 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
A Lancaster hidden gem that lives up to its name—featuring exposed brick, mood lighting, and a bar set inside a historic courtroom. It’s a room rich with character before you even order a drink. Historical spaces naturally invite people to lower their guard, connect genuinely, and linger past their plans. Combine that atmosphere with a room full of intentional singles, and you have a Tuesday night that actually goes somewhere.
How the Night Works
Check in with your host and grab a name tag—no apps to download, no profile to fill out at the door. The evening unfolds in three distinct phases:
- Phase 1: Guided Icebreakers — You’ll be seated at a small table with a casual game to jumpstart the conversation without any forced opening lines. Men rotate one table each round, ensuring every turn brings a fresh set of connections.
- Phase 2: Open Mingling — The structure lifts. Move freely and talk to whoever catches your interest for as long as you’d like. Because you’ve already seen most of the room during rounds, you skip the cold-approach awkwardness entirely.
- Phase 3: Targeted One-on-Ones — Brief, dedicated sit-downs with anyone in the room you haven’t yet had the chance to meet.
Before heading out, take under a minute to privately note the people you’d like to see again. If the feeling is mutual, you’ll receive your matches that same night—no waiting through an agonizing review period.
Why It Works:
Everyone in attendance chose to spend a Tuesday night making real-world connections—a filter no dating app can replicate. The structure removes the friction: you never have to worry about initiating or ending a conversation, and mutual interest is handled quietly and efficiently behind the scenes.
