Stream Exploration at Greenfield

Celebrate Lancaster Water Week at Greenfield! About this event: A naturalist from the Lancaster Conservancy will guide us for a stream exploration where we’ll examine benthic macroinvertebrates to determine stream health and evaluate the sustainability of the stream corridor. This walk will begin at S. Dale High Leadership Center (1861 William Penn Way). Participants will determine what is right with Stauffer Run, and identify changes that could be made to improve the quality of this stream. We will also discuss how the recommendations made to improve this stream can be made on other streams. Comfortable attire recommended.
