Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse, located at 112 N. Water Street in Lancaster, will host an evening of bold and atmospheric live music on Friday, April 17, 2026, beginning at 8:00 PM, featuring Harrisburg’s The World on Edge and York ensemble Public Disco Porch. The World on Edge is a three-piece cinematic post-rock band from Harrisburg, PA, known for widescreen instrumental music built on atmosphere, tension, and emotional storytelling. Their sound layers guitars, dynamic percussion, and high-fidelity production to create immersive sonic narratives — and audiences can look forward to new material, with a full-length album due out this summer. York’s Public Disco Porch brings a singular vision to the stage: music rooted in the land, the history, and the people of South Central Pennsylvania. Their catalog weaves folk-metal riffage, entrancing percussion, and muscled low-end into something that feels at once like historical excavation and unhinged spiritual celebration. Together, the two acts offer a rare evening of music that is ambitious, deeply felt, and entirely original.
