Meet at Pocket Books Shop at 10:00am to take a walk around the neighborhood with the Chesapeake Bay Alliance and learn to identify your local trees! This event is free but RSVPs are required, as space is limited. Purchase BARK: A FIELD GUIDE TO TREES OF THE NORTHEAST from Pocket Books ahead of the event to prepare! The Alliance restores the lands and waters of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Their collaborative and action-oriented approach delivers on-the-ground solutions, technical assistance, and builds capacity to achieve healthier lands and cleaner water. They envision clean water and resilient landscapes, cared for by all the people who live, work, and play in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
