Be part of the nation’s longest-running race against racism on Saturday, April 25, and help us fulfill the YWCA Lancaster mission — to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. YWCA Lancaster has been working alongside you since 1889 in Lancaster County. Now in its 28th year, the Race Against Racism, organized by YWCA Lancaster, is the longest consecutively run race against racism in the nation! Join us in uniting against racism and working together to build a just future where women and people of color are celebrated as equal, powerful, and unstoppable. Kids’ Fun Run — approx. 8:30 am The Kids’ Fun Run is for kids through age 12 — before the 5K race at approximately 8:30 am. Registration is required. 5K Run / Walk Race — 9:00 am Proceeds from the YWCA Lancaster Race Against Racism benefit YWCA Lancaster’s Center for Racial and Gender Equity.
