LCSWMA
LCSWMA, or the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority, is focused on protecting people and the environment, while contributing to a more sustainable community. After you place your trash and recycling at the curb, waste haulers collect the material and deliver it to LCSWMA to manage through our Integrated System. We then transform the waste into a resource by protecting land, generating renewable energy, and investing back into our community.
Help Protect the Community!
Did you know that rechargeable batteries can spark and explode when damaged? These batteries are prone to damage when in the back of a trash truck or in a waste or recycling facility. Please never put rechargeable batteries in the trash or recycling bin. Visit SafeBatteryDisposal.com for details and local drop-off locations.
