Giving Back in Lancaster
Here at Fig, we have long believed that creative thinking can transform a community. Sparked by this greater purpose, we have supported the vitality of Lancaster City by giving back—first through our Fig Social Mission Partner program, which supported local nonprofits for more than a decade—and now through The Fig Tree, a grant program for small business in Lancaster City to fund innovative new ideas.
The Fig Tree
Fig has been on a mission for nearly two decades to celebrate entrepreneurs and contribute to the vitality of Lancaster City through Fig magazine.
In 2023, Fig Industries—creators and producers of Fig Lancaster—partnered with our friends at Lancaster County Community Foundation to plant The Fig Tree, a Donor Advised Fund that awards grants each year to support small business owners so new ideas can take root and grow, and Lancaster City can continue to thrive. These grants will boost improvements, expansions, and innovations.
This is our way of leaving a legacy of support and encouragement for small businesses like ours to ensure the Lancaster City small business community continues to thrive while providing a way for other businesses and individuals (like you) to get involved.
Fig Social Mission Partner
Starting in 2005, we partnered with a local nonprofit through our Social Mission Partner program. Each year, we lent our partner the powerful and effective reach of the Fig brand and voice. They, in turn, strengthened the fabric of our local community.
