The Santa Stumble is returning for its 10th year on Saturday, December 14th from 4 – 11:30 pm for a night of good brews and good times, all for a good cause.

This Lancaster tradition started back in 2009 as a holiday-themed pub crawl for a group of friends. Now the event pulls close to 4,000 participants per year and has raised over $100,000 in donations! The Stumble is only $10, which provides you with a button, free cover at all participating locations, and directly supports our furry friends at the police department! As a thank you for your $30 and you’ll receive the button, free covers, and a 10^th Anniversary Santa Stumble scarf!

If a night of your favorite drinks with your favorite people isn’t enough reasons, we have a few more.

1. Good Cause

Above all else, this night is devoted to supporting the Lancaster City Police Foundation in caring and maintaining the horses of the Mounted Patrol and the dogs of the K9 unit. Our donations helps with every aspect of care for the animals, from medical services, vests for the K9, transportation, and everything in between—none of which is covered by taxpayer monies but solely by donations. We are beyond grateful for the brave men, women, and animals who keep our city a wonderful place to be! This event is just one fun and creative way we can give back!

Participation from “stumblers” is a large part of the success, but the event also relies on donations from local businesses to not only match but top each previous year’s goals. 2. Costume Contest

Each year, the stumble includes a costume contest where all stumblers are asked to hit the streets in their best holiday garb! This year, the costume contest will be held at The Village Nightclub at 8 pm! From jolly old Saint Nick to the Heat Miser, Lancaster knows how to dress to impress. Registration opens at 7:15 pm for stumblers to compete for the title of Best Costume, Best Group, or Most Original! Prizes include assorted gift cards, a New Belgium/Timbuk2 messenger bag and cooler, a pair of Flyers tickets sponsored by Jack Daniels, and a one night stay at the new Lancaster Holiday Inn (breakfast/parking included).

3. PS4 Giveaway

New Belgium Brewing will be helping us celebrate with a giveaway for a customized PS4! All you have to do is snap a picture at the event and text it to (844)763-7663 with the message “SANTA STUMBLE” to enter.

4. Tour the City

This year, the stumble will include 20 participating locations! From American Bar & Grill in the east, The Fridge in the west, Rumplebrewskin’s Bar in the north, and  Tellus360 in the south of the city, the stumble will take you on an unparalleled tour of Lancaster City!
