What are your plans for New Year's Eve in Lancaster?
“Where did the year go?” Like clockwork, we find ourselves asking this very question each December. And as is often the case, that query is followed up with yet another: “How are we going spend our New Year’s Eve?” Well, here are some local event suggestions slated for Sunday, December 31st, 2017:
What? Sunday Brunch & New Year’s Eve Dinner
Where? The Pressroom Restaurant (26-28 W. King St., Lancaster, PA 17603)
When? 10:30 am – 2:00 pm (Brunch) & 4:30 pm – 10:30 pm (Dinner)
Description: In addition to Sunday Brunch, Chef Daniel Quisphe will be showcasing a special a la carte dinner menu for evening guests. Call 717-399-5400, use The Pressroom Restaurant’s website, or visit OpenTable.com to make a reservation.
What? New Year’s Eve Brunch
Where? Hunger-N-Thirst (920 Landis Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603)
When? 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Description: The scheduled brunch will feature a special a la carte menu and select drinks items. Seating is limited, so reservations are encouraged (call 717-208-3808 to book your seat(s) today).
What? Tellus360 New Year’s Eve Party!
Where? Tellus360 (24 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602)
When? 7:00 pm – 1:00 am
Description: Tellus360 will be bidding adieu to 2017 with a stable of musical guests: What’s Her Face, Vinegar Creek Constituency, Laura Luce, and the Corty Byron Band. There will also be a dance party hosted by DJ Backdraft and Rock N Roll Light Control. Tickets can be purchased on Tellus360’s event page.
What? Altana New Year’s Eve
Where? Altana Rooftop Lounge (26 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602)
When? 7:30 pm – 2:00 am
Description: A rooftop party with a beautifully advantageous view of midnight fireworks. Featuring live music from the Justin Angelo Band. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
What? A Stranger Things NYE
Where? Zoetropolis Art House (315 W. James St., Lancaster, PA 17603)
When? 8:00 pm – 2:00 am
Description: You read that right. Zoetropolis will be hosting a Stranger Things-themed Prom (80s attire is highly encouraged). This will also be the final New Year’s Eve celebration at their 315 W. James St. location. Score your tickets here.
What? New Year’s Eve Lancaster
Where? Binns Park (100 Block of N. Queen St.)
When? 10:00 pm – Midnight
Description: Ring in the new year with live music from The Big Fat Meanies, the dropping of the Red Rose, and a massive fireworks show. The event is free to the public.
