Fig: Who/what influenced you take a chance on starting your business?
Bushra: My love of my country and my culture.

Fig: What is your secret superpower?
Bushra: My secret superpower is love and passion—I cook with my heart, not just my hands. I love to share delicious food with people, I have a strong palate, and I want to be a good ambassador of my country.

Fig: What’s something people may not know about you?
Bushra: I don’t have any background in cooking. It was just a hobby and passion, but I have a PhD in physics.

Fig: What is your personal favorite thing on your menu?
Bushra: To be truthful, every dish I put out I look at it as my child so I love all my kids and cannot pick a favorite. All of them have the same level of taste but different flavors and texture.

Fig: Who/what influenced you take a chance on starting your business?
Sarmila: My inspiration to be bold has always been my father. He owned a business in Nepal that allowed him to travel the world. He told us the world was open to all of us, and we should share the rich culture of Nepal through whatever work we choose.

Fig: What is your secret superpower?
Sarmila: I have three! They are dedication, discipline, and devotion. I am dedicated to my family and my customers, disciplined in working as hard as necessary, and devoted to my faith— without it nothing would be possible.

Fig: What is your personal favorite thing on your menu?
Sarmila: That is easy—Chicken Momo and Chicken Tikka Masala.

Fig: What is the most rewarding part of owning your business?
Sarmila: The love from our dear guests, friends, and community!
