According to the Lancaster County Hunger Mapping Project, almost 50,000 people, or 1 in 11 residents, face food insecurity each year. An additional 25,000 households are at risk of hunger but oft en don’t qualify for traditional food assistance. Across Lancaster, dedicated nonprofits partner with businesses, volunteers, and donors to address the needs of neighbors, including these organizations that serve Lancaster City.
