At Chestnut Street Investment Counsel, financial advising extends beyond investment decisions. The team’s holistic approach incorporates lifestyle, family priorities, caregiving responsibilities, and long-term wellness into the client’s financial plan.
Since every client is unique, each financial plan is customized to include retirement plans, investment strategies, and estate planning recommendations. Tailoring each client’s financial plans gives them both confidence and peace of mind.
Life can throw us curveballs, and Chestnut Street acknowledges this truth—guiding clients through transitions like marriage, divorce, caregiving, widowhood, and career changes. Chestnut Street carefully listens to client concerns and life transitions with the goal to provide financial clarity and emotional support during pivotal life moments.
As a Registered Investment Advisor(RIA), Chestnut Street Investment Counsel balances portfolios with growth and risk management. They remain committed to building strategies that meet today’s needs while protecting long-term financial futures for clients and their families.

Chestnut Street Client Process
- Initial Consultation: Always free, this is a meeting to have an in-depth conversation about goals, challenges and value. Clients can expect transparency around advisory services, fees, and fiduciary responsibility.
- Information Gathering: This can be done at the first meeting or later. They will review income, assets, and liabilities, getting the big picture of your financial situation.
- Strategy Development: From the information gathered, our advisor will develop a personalized plan. This may include retirement savings strategies, tax planning to balance growth and protection.
- Ongoing Guidance: Once you become a client, they review your investment portfolio often. As life evolves so should your financial plan. An ongoing client relationship includes touch points either by phone, text, or in person, and they encourage clients to voice any money concerns so the team can thoughtfully assist them and provide ongoing support.
