Fluid Acrylic Workshop with Marcy Stone
March 13, April 3, May 8, June 5, and July 3
Join Marcy Stone at Lancaster Art Vault for an evening of fun, creation and exploration! Lancaster Art Vault supplies everything you will need for this event. Fluid acrylic art is an abstract painting technique that involves pouring and turning thin, liquid paint, mixing with mediums and powered pigments, onto a canvas or other surface. Guest Artist Show – Color and Place
April 4 through May 31
Color & Place explores how color shapes our perception of place—real, imagined, or abstract. Featuring artists Laura Watt, Mimi Shapiro, Ellen Silberlicht, Jennifer Domal, Karen Schory, and emerging artist Joseph Roach, this exhibition showcases works that use color to define landscapes, evoke environments, and reimagine spatial relationships. The pieces challenge how we perceive and connect to place, from natural expanses to surreal and abstract forms.

“A Walk in the Woods”: A Musical Journey at Lancaster Art Vault
April 10
Walk in the Woods is a three-part musical experience where the audience explores the gallery while musicians perform throughout, blending composed music with improvisation. As they wander, the audience is immersed in a dynamic soundscape that responds to the space and art around them. This interactive performance invites participants to engage with both the music and the artwork in a unique and personal way.
$10 per person
The Art of Making Collage with Mimi Shapiro
May 15
Through playful exploration, participants will challenge perspectives—altering contexts, adding or subtracting elements, and integrating paint or crayon for a mixed-media approach. From abstract patterns to figurative imagery, they will build compositions through repetition, superimposition, and textural contrasts. Found objects, discarded items, and unexpected materials will be assembled into dynamic 3D structures.
$35 per person (Supplies included)
Dan Graziano Workshop: Painting In A “Painterly” Manner
May 17 and May 18
This two-day workshop will focus on painting “alla prima” (all at once) as well as developing greater skills of observation, simplification and quickly painting “wet on wet” to create strong “painterly” paintings. The workshop will also discuss techniques to quickly transfer the important elements from a reference photo to the canvas, creating an artistic and personal interpretation rather than simply rendering a photograph.
$290 per person for both classes
Introduction to Alcohol Inks with Ann Benton Yeager
May 31
Alcohol inks are vibrant, fast-drying, and permanent once dry, working on most clean, oil-free surfaces. These semi-transparent, alcohol-based inks are waterproof and can be layered to create stunning effects. Ann will demonstrate techniques on various substrates, offering plenty of time for participants to create their own pieces—no experience necessary!
$90 per person (Supplied included)
