In March Third Story is presenting four artists who take inspiration from trees and plants of the forest. Donald Crowl offers us jewel toned color studies featuring trees at close and middle distance. Stephanie Gibson discovers shapes in leaves and other items on the forest floor to begin her abstract paintings. Barbara J. Hart is a landscape painter who brings the trees into the forefront of her sweeping vistas. Jeremy Waak’s kinetic sculptures are inspired by the movement of ferns. See “Arcadia, Part One” at Third Story from March 6 through April 25., and “Arcadia, Part Two” at Olivia’s Fine Art from March 6 through March 28.
