Somewhere between a concert and a cocktail party, Allegro Orchestra’s ‘Music in the Round’ concert series features shorter performances in intimate settings, preceded by a festive reception with desserts and beverages. This installment of Music in the Round features First United Methodist Church’s breathtaking organ expansion, played by the excellent Peter Omundsen, a 13-player brass ensemble, two fantastic percussionists, and a selection of exciting and varied pieces ranging from late 16th century Canzonas to 21st century arrangements. Enjoy an afternoon matinee or an evening performance with Lancaster’s Joyful Orchestra!
