“Organic Reflections: Summertime Classics”

Organist Larry Hershey will perform a concert entitled “Summertime Classics” at First Reformed Church. The free 30-minute concert will include Gershwin’s “Summertime” from Porgy and Bess, “The Washington Post March” by John Phillips Sousa, and Camille Saint-Sean’s “The Swan”. The program will conclude with “Evening Harmonies” by Sigfrid Karg-Elert, and “Hornpipe” from Handel’s Water Music Suite.
The First Friday “Organic Reflections” concert series is a gift to the community from First Reformed Church, a center city congregation of the United Church of Christ. Doors open at 7:30 pm. All are welcome to hear 30 minutes of majestic music that will refresh your soul and inspire your spirit.
