Here’s The Scoop: Where To Find Delicious Ice Cream In Lancaster City

Summertime calls for our favorite frozen treat!

Here’s the scoop on some great places in Lancaster City to find your favorite ice cream, milkshakes, floats, and sundaes.

    Lancaster Cupcake

What makes Lancaster Cupcake cupcakes even better? Combining them with a creamy, frozen soft serve ice cream! Choose one of your favorite cupcake flavors for this special Cupcake Split treat. We also love the Mega Cake Shakes offered (a signature milkshake served in a souvenir glass frosted with icing and toppings, finished with whipped cream, toppings, and your favorite cupcake stacked on top). Check out the milkshakes and sundaes as well!

Where: 24 West Orange Street, 260 Granite Run Drive, and 501 Park City Center

    Splits & Giggles

There are so many options at Splits & Giggles to satisfy your ice cream craving. We love the Giggles Parfait (three scoops of your choice of ice cream layered with three toppings of your choice) and the Banana Split (traditional banana split with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream that is topped with strawberries, pineapple, and chocolate syrup, served in a parfait cup with whipped cream and a cherry on top).

Or feel free to browse their many ice cream flavors and choose a cone, a cup, a milkshake, or ice cream float.

    Where: 500 West Lemon Street

    Rolled Cold Creamery

At Rolled Cold, customers can choose from a huge menu full of delicious flavors. You can explore The Originals—flavors that are consistently featured at the shop like Chocolate Brownie (a best seller!), Blueberry, Peanut Butter Cup, Cookies and Cream, Caramel Pretzel, Mint Chocolate Chip, and more. Plus, there are seasonal flavors rotating throughout the menu.

You can pick a flavor, or choose a custom flavor by selecting a specific cream, mix-in, topping, and sauce. And don’t forget your dish choices! In addition to standard cups, there are waffle cone shells (with a vegan option!).

    Where: 24 East Orange Street

    Penny’s Ice Cream

Check out the great assortment of ice cream treats at this adorable parlor on Prince. From waffle cones to milkshakes, this has it all. We love The PBO Sundae (Peanut Butter Oreo Ice Cream, peanut butter cup crumbles, and hot fudge) and The Brownie Sundae (vanilla ice cream, Wendy Jo’s brownies, and hot fudge).

Or browse their fantastic variety of ice cream flavors and make your own!

    Where: 228 North Prince Street

    Miesse Candies

New to Miesse Candies is an old fashioned ice cream parlor experience. Choose from classic ice cream flavors or make an old fashioned milkshake or float. A warm summer day is the perfect opportunity to check out this new addition to Miesse Candies!

While you are there, browse their selection of handcrafted chocolates, caramels, hand-dipped chocolate pretzels & fruit, and other delicious candies.
